Three Principles of Breakthrough by Larry Cockerham

During a recent time of fasting and prayer, the Lord showed me 3 things he wanted me and my ministry to grow in. I want to share these 3 things with you because I believe that God wants you to grow and that He wants your ministry to grow. These 3 principles that will assure your personal growth toward a more successful life and the growth of your ministry.

God showed me that we need breakthroughs in three areas: Organization, Assimilation and Cancellation and that these 3 areas hold the keys to your personal growth and to the growth of your ministry. As we apply these 3 principles, we will all be able to go to the next level.

The first principle is organization which is the spiritual gift of leadership or administration. Jesus organized the crowds before He fed them. 1 Corinthians 14:40 says that everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way. We need to get organized in our personal lives including our family, schedule and finances as well as in our ministries. The Lord showed me the following principle: Order produces Excellence which produces Success.

The second principle is assimilation which is primarily a biological term meaning the conversion of nutrient into substance. The problem is that we waste many of the resources God gives us. Jesus is the perfect example: “I have not lost one of those you gave me.” John 18:9

The third principle is cancellation. In order to be successful, there are some hindrances that need to be canceled, including disorder, waste and debt. What are the obstacles that keep you and your ministry from going to the next level? Whatever it is, God wants to cancel it.

The three principles are related: Organization produces Assimilation which produces Cancellation. When we get organized, we will stop wasting our resources and we will cancel our hindrances. I want to encourage you to ask God to show you how to get organized, quit wasting your resources and cancel the things that are hindering your growth. With these principles, you can go to the next level personally and in your ministry.

Galatians 5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.

I had a dream the other night that shook me a little.

My family was in a few places that were really dirty. Yucky messy. I don’t know if we were in homes or not but places really out of order and a mess.

In these places there were a few men and young men as well. I remember the conversations and things they were speaking about were perverse and filthy.

When I woke up I wanted to shout, “Everyone go clean your house!!!”

But, I believe it was a message to us to look at our lives, families and homes for places that are out of order. Dis-order in the natural is often just a symptom of dis-order in the spirit.  2011 was  year of re-ordering things in our lives for 2012 to be a time to move forward.  Practically, if the place you live or work is chaos and mess, I would encourage you to clean it up.   When my environment is out of order it often reflects an internal dis-order.  If your family is not operating in peace and grace toward each other seek help with your life group leader or other leaders.  If your finances are out of control and out of order, seek help.  If you are allowing sin or immorality into your life do what James 5 says and confess your faults and pray for one another SO THAT you may be HEALED.

Galatians 5
13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh[a]; rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”[b] 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.
16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

Kingdom of Heaven

The word that God has given me for the new year is “The Kingdom of Heaven” with the focus on living in the Kingdom of Heaven. I will only have time today to begin this great topic, but I am planning to continue teaching on the series “The Kingdom of Heaven” following the “Hearing From Heaven” conference. What is the Kingdom of Heaven? It is the Kingdom of God. It’s the Supernatural Realm where God lives, speaks and rules, exerting His power and rule from heaven to earth, from time to eternity, from everlasting to everlasting. It’s where God’s life, wisdom, character and strength is poured into our life. It’s the Presence of God, the Power of God and the Rule of God.
Presence of God (Living in the presence of God) It means becoming aware of God and inviting Him into your everyday life.
Power of God (Living in the Supernatural Power of God) It means praying for the supernatural, expecting the supernatural and living in the supernatural.
Rule of God (Living under the Rule of God) It means you’re not in charge any more. (And neither is your wife!) It means God is in charge, not just while you’re in church, but all the time. It means God is the King, the Boss, the Head Honcho, the Emperor, the President, the absolute monarch of your life.

Is anybody interested? Then let’s go for it.

There are 119 New Testament References to the Kingdom of Heaven. The theme of the Kingdom of Heaven permeated the teachings of Jesus, beginning with “Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.” Jesus taught more on the Kingdom of Heaven than anything else. Yet we seem to have so little understanding of it. Today I want to invite you into the Kingdom of Heaven, not just for ticket for an eternity in heaven, not just for a visit — but to live in the kingdom of Heaven. To do that we have to repent, which means to “Think differently”, “Change your mind” and “Change your behavior.” It means to give your heart and soul and mind and strength to Jesus, and let Him be the King of your life.

Many times Jesus said, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like…”

The Kingdom of Heaven is near. (It’s closer than you think.) “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matt 3:2)
It’s at hand, within reach, accessible, nearer than you think. Let’s get over thinking the Kingdom of Heaven is far off and far away when Jesus said it it near. When Jesus came, he brought the kingdom. Where Jesus was, the kingdom was. Since Jesus is in us, the Kingdom of Heaven is in us. So, wherever we are, the Kingdom of Heaven has an opportunity to be there. Jesus demonstrated the Kingdom of Heaven when He healed the sick, cleansed the lepers and raised the dead. Acts 10:38 says “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.” Has God anointed us? Is God with us? Then we can do the same. Jesus said, I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.” (John 14:12) The Kingdom of God is bigger than the church. Let’s take it outside the church — to the job, to the neighborhood, to Wal-mart. Wherever you go, the Kingdom of Heaven goes — in full power!

The Kingdom of Heaven is made up of children. (It’s open to children and other small people.) “Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matt 19:14)
The Kingdom of Heaven is entered and explored by humility, innocence, dependency, trust and receptivity — like a little child. No room for pretense. No room for pride. Only those who are small enough to go through the keyhole of humility will enter and live in the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who go low enough to escape the radar of the enemy will get in. It’s time to get the camel of our pride to bow down and go through the eye of the needle to get into the Kingdom.

The Kingdom is like a mustard seed. (It starts small but grows big.) “He told them another parable: ‘The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.’”Matt 13:31)
God wants His kingdom to grow in your life this year. He wants to extend his realm in your life, far beyond what you have experienced in the past. It’s like escaping the atmosphere and the gravity field of the earth and boldly going beyond where we have ever been before, into the “outer space” of the Kingdom of God. There really is that much more to be explored and experienced and lived in.

The Kingdom is like yeast. (It changes what it’s put into.) “He told them still another parable: ‘The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.’”(Matt 13:33) God will not move in beside anything else. The expanding Kingdom of God will push aside everything else. With God, it’s all or nothing. And we have experienced next-to-nothing of the Kingdom of God. We’ve just scratched the surface. We’ve just experienced a drop in the bucket, compared with the vast expanses of the Kingdom of God. Jesus is the only human who ever lived in the fullness of the Kingdom, but He invites us in. Jesus says, “The Kingdom of Heaven is near. Come on in. Explore. Let it expand in you. Let it expand you.” I am praying that God will infect us with the yeast of the Kingdom. Let it grow, multiply, expand and enlarge until it takes over everything else, bubbling over and expanding beyond the limits of any of our old wineskins. Come, Kingdom of God! Pop the cork! Blow the lid off. I want more of you than I have ever had before.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a hidden treasure. (It comes by seeking God.) “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” (Matt 13:44)
The world doesn’t see the Kingdom of Heaven. Some of you don’t know what we’re talking about. Jesus said you have to be born again to even SEE the Kingdom of Heaven. The treasure is worth longing for, searching for, seeking for. The Kingdom of Heaven has got to become our consuming passion and our magnificent obsession. It will only be revealed to those who are desperately hungry for it. Are you one of those? I am. And I am praying that during this time of fasting and prayer, I will become even more desperate until I am consumed with the passion for the Kingdom of Heaven. I want to live in heaven, I want it now and I don’t have to die to go there. We can experience it here and now. The Kingdom of Heaven will always be hidden from the world, but it will be revealed to those who seek Him with all your heart.

The Kingdom of Heaven advances forcefully. Desperate people lay hold of it. (It yields to desperate people.) “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.” (Matt 11:12)
Jesus spoke in violent terms. I like what Jesus said, “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence,[a] and violent people have been raiding it.” I’m looking for some people who will go on some raids. Every service we have this year, every prayer meeting, every Life Group meeting needs to be a raiding party — going deeper and deeper into the realms of the Kingdom of Heaven. Does anybody want to go? Are there any violent people here who are not content to repeat “church of last year”? God was in “church of last year” but He is not there now. He has advanced, and He is advancing forcefully, violently, at beyond-lightning speed into the church of the Kingdom. If you want it, you’re going to have to be violent in your faith and take it by force.

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a fishing net. (It’s all-inclusive.) “Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish.” (Matt 13:47)
It is always reaching out for others. And the catch is amazing in it’s potential abundance and in it’s incredible diversity. God wants to let some people in that you and I might not want to let in. He wants the rich and the poor. He wants the young and the old. He wants the fat and the skinny. He wants the prostitutes and the pimps. He wants the pushers and the users. He wants the cons and the conned. He wants the black, white, brown, pink, purple, yellow and green. He wants the homeless, drug addicts, prostitutes and alcoholics. He wants the bound and the free. God’s net is out, and He want them all. He want the card sharks, the pool sharks and the loan sharks. He wants the shrimps and the crabs, the lobsters and the squid, the skates and the sharks, the little fish and the big fish. The good news is that whosoever will may come and enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Nobody is excluded. That’s the way you and I got in. You might think you’re a big fish or a little fish, but God wanted you and you’re in. God wants the rest of them too.

Summary: This morning I have shared with you seven things Jesus taught me about the Kingdom of Heaven.
It’s closer than you think.
It’s open to children and other small people.
It starts small, but it grows big.
It changes what you put it into.
It comes by seeking God.
It yields to desperate people.
It’s all-inclusive.

Closing:
Do you want to live in the Kingdom of God, where you daily experience the presence of God? Do you want to tap into the power of God? Then you’re going to have to come under the rule of God. Sounds scary, doesn’t it? But I think it’s the most exciting possibility I ever heard of. I don’t know about you, but I want it. I want to live in the Kingdom of Heaven. And whatever it costs, it will be worth it.

I stand here today, on behalf of God, inviting you into His kingdom, the Kingdom of Heaven. It’s all-inclusive. That means God wants you. Will you say yes?

A New Lexicon

Lexicon – the vocabulary of a person, language or branch of knowledge.

God wants to give us a new lexicon. Not figures of speech or new phrasing, but a completely new vocabulary. The more we are in His presence; we see and have new understanding of things eternal that reshape how we think and how we talk.

In Revelations, John saw and heard things that stumped his vocabulary. There is a vocabulary of the Spirit that transcends words and even surpasses human understanding. It is a language of the Spirit and we hear it with our spirits. It is a language that cannot be cornered by the laws of grammar or neatly placed inside sentence structure. It is a vocabulary of the Spirit! Our spirit loves this language and this language propels us into the deeper things of God. At the nucleus of the most complex mysteries of God is LOVE!

Eph. 3:17-19 – And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

Love & Our Non-Issues

When we are focused on love, things that would normally be issues become non-issues.

Wind and water became a non-issue when love showed up. A Samaritan woman’s heart riddled with the wholes of wounding, unfaithfulness & divorce became a non-issue when face to face with love. Peter’s reactionary anger towards people gets swallowed up in the redeeming love of the cross. A mass murderer gets knocked off his horse by love and sees clearly for the first time. Zacheus using and taking advantage of people less fortunate than himself is swallowed up in the love of Jesus. The widow that had too little, had more than enough when love knocked on her door. Prostitutes, vagabonds, demoniacs, witches, assassains, bitter & used up people get clean slates of love to start a new life filled with God potential.

The Best Dance

Have you ever been at a venue where music is being played, people are dancing all around you, but you don’t know that dance? There are many forms of dance. To name a few, there is the: Waltz, Tango and the ChaCha. The rhythm determines the type of dance needed to be in sync.

Each new season calls for a new dance. (Is. 43:18 – 19) Every couples dance has a leader who sets the pace. The Holy Spirit is the one who shows us the steps to the music being played. When we follow His lead we move in perfect synchronization with Him. All it takes to get off rhythm, is to turn our focus away from our partner.

Recognizing the season that God has given us, is like a dancer who understands the right dance for the music being played. The best dance is the one He is leading.
Partnering with the Holy Spirit is the most beautiful dance. If the season is one of intimacy and love sick compelling, then we will get lost in the intimacy of Jesus. Two hearts will be unveiled and a beautiful dance will be front stage. (Psalms 27:4)

If the dance is a fast pace, then we join him in the expediency of what He is doing. Like Elijah, we get ready to run because the answer is speedily arriving. Praying and fasting, to join our partner in the quick step He is leading. (I Kings 18:46)

It’s Time To Dance!

Vision for the Brokenhearted – by Chanin Giannasio

Last Sunday I believe that God gave me a vision for the brokenhearted, but I didn’t act on it because I wasn’t sure how it pertained to the other words being spoken. Then you gave your message, and it wasn’t until my life group on Monday that I saw how it did relate. The vision isn’t going away, and God actually gave me more to it last night at prayer. I shared it in its entirety to Ms. Nancy, and she asked me to email you and give you a summary. Also to see what you would like for me to do about it; whether share it with the church or posted it on the church website.

So here it goes. I saw people walking around with their hands cupped, and they were holding their hearts which had been broken into many pieces. They were looking to other people or things to try and put their heart back together. These other people and things would try, but ultimately the hearts would fall apart and be given back. Then I saw God holding his hands out, and He said, “Give it to me. Let me put it back together.” So the people did, and I saw God welding (fusing) their hearts together with the light of His love; which made the hearts very strong. God said that as long as he had their heart; it would never be broken again. Then I saw the light from God’s heart fill the hearts of his people, and His light shone through the cracks that had been fused together. It was a direct link to His heart. His light shone out of the people for others to see, and they glowed like Moses did when he came down from Mount Sinai. Then I got the scripture Psalms 147:3, which talks about God healing the brokenhearted.

Time With Father

I want to share with you about my time with Father God this morning. I was in worship and prayer and just focusing on Father and asking Him, “What is your will? I want to live in your will.” Just pressing in when in my spirit man I saw a hand grab my chin gently and pull my face from the side to the front, which is where Father was. I focused in on Him and then again began to day dream back to the side of wanting to know His will. Again His hand touched my chin and brought me back to a focus on Him. I then stayed focused on Father, but eventually my mind began to think of things I call, “The Stuff.” You know job, life, family, finances, calling, ministry…. you can go on and on. Then all of a sudden Father God high jacked my mind and I began to think upon the scriptures of Jesus and how the disciples would look for Him and later find Him in prayer to the Father. These times that Jesus did that where all through out the day; morning, day, and night. Then Father took me to when I first got married and how every minute of extra time I had I would try to schedule to see my wife, whether it was 5 minutes or an hour. Our focus was just to spend time together, be in each others presence. Then I came to and heard Father God say, “I enjoy you.” Man you talk about rock your world. I have not been the same since, all I can do is think about Him and what He showed me this morning.
What I received from this revelation from Father is that He longs for me to “Know Him.” First Love, man that is what it is all about. I hope you are getting a picture of this because it is not just for pastor’s it is for all of His children. He enjoys us and desires a real and genuine relationship with no hidden agenda but to gaze upon Him and ……… only He knows the rest.

Bury that dead thing! 8 Symptoms of Unforgiveness

I am convinced that much of our emotional and relational issues can be traced to unresolved wounds and unforgiveness.

If you had a pet that died but instead of burying it you kept it in your purse or backpack eventually you would have some serious problems.  That is the emotional equivalent of unforgiveness.

Why forgive?

1.  Jesus commands us to   2.  so our sins are forgiven and our prayers are heard – Matthew 6:14-16  For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. (NIV)         3.   to be like Christ                4. unforgiveness says “God, I don’t trust you to handle this situation” – to restore your trust in God

How to forgive?

“I dont’ think I can forgive them.”   Almost all of us have said that at some point in time.  Yesterday I read a story of the mother of 20 year old young man that was shot and killed at a party by a 16 yr old.  After 10 years she decided to go to the prison to see  the young man that killed her son.  That day she told him, “I release you, I let you go.”   She physically collapsed because a weight that she had carried was lifted from her soul.   What is the end of the story?   After her son’s murderer was released from prison he moved next door to her because she has become a second mother to him.  They have both learned the power of true and life changing forgiveness.  He is a changed young man and does all he can to care for her as a mom.

But, how do I forgive?     1.   Choose – you won’t feel like forgiving – you have to choose – and sometimes you have to choose every day when negative emotions come back.   Eventually the pain and anger will subside as you continue to forgive.   2.  Pray for them – you may have to force the prayer through clenched teeth but Jesus said to pray for your enemies.  This is the action that releases them into God’s hands and restores purity to your heart.   God will do the rest – just obey what He said to do.

Symptoms of Unforgiveness (from Journey to Wholeness Ministries) 


Dwelling on Negative Events
One of the most reliable means of detecting unforgiveness is when a person dwells on negative events; both past and present. Unforgiving persons will replay the negative events over and over in their minds, and refuse to submit them to the Lord per His command. Sometimes the unforgiving person will tell other people about these events, and sometimes they will not. Some refuse to say anything, and some cannot stop talking about it. I believe it good to talk over things for the sake of counseling. However, I believe it bad for them to be discussed frequently in ordinary conversations since then it is nothing more than gossip.
Mental torment or mental illness is linked to unofrgiveness.
Negative Images
You will have negative images of the person that hurt you and these images will keep you awake at night!
You Will Be Pinged!
If the person that hurt you enters the room or someone mentions their name, you feel feelings of being pinged, your heart hurts like a broken heart, you get angry, you want to run or hide when the enter the room, start telling someone what they did to you – going into accusation or gossip about that person or you just do not want to hear that name, then you have unforgiveness.
Bitterness
Unforgiving persons are often bitter persons. Family relationships seem to be the hardest for them to cope with. Friends not connected to the family, oddly enough, seem to escape the wrath of the unforgiving person, whereas family members must endure the scowls, silent treatments, insults, thrown objects and yelling. Unforgiving persons, who happen to attend church, treat some church members as badly as they would their immediate family. This is the reason some unforgiving persons refuse to attend church at all.
Depression
A relationship not right with God is depressing. We cannot expect to be blessed when we are out from under God’s hands of protection due to our refusal to forgive someone else. Unforgiving persons cannot have a right relationship with the Lord until they repent and forgive. Therefore, many of God’s blessings are not given them, and protection against the devil is no longer guaranteed the unforgiving person.
Self-Harm
Every cutter and burner I have met, admitted to me that they refuse to forgive someone. Some have told me they use self-injury as a coping mechanism. I do not fully understand this, and wonder if I ever will. Even though I may not understand, I have come to recognize this as a sign of unforgiveness and I then investigate who it was that originally hurt them, and when.

Self-Seclusion
Eventually, the unforgiving person tends to withdraw from having contact with other human beings. There comes a time when it’s simply too much to deal with. The unforgiving person can reach a point to where they will not risk being hurt by anyone else ever again. The issues build up, unless something is released. I’ve noticed that some who seclude themselves engage in “throw-away” relationships via the Internet. This way, as soon as some new Internet friend hurts their feelings, they can send an exhaustive email explaining how they felt the other person hurt them, and then block their ex-friends’ emails or instant messages.

Inability to Recognize God’s Presence
Satan can use unforgiveness to form a barrier between the person and the Lord. How can this be? It’s simple. God cannot forgive those who refuse to forgive someone else. Unforgiven sin separates us from God. It must be the willful volition of the unforgiving person to forgive. It must become their desire to submit their life to God’s Will and love Him more so than obtaining revenge, or any other form of compensation. I advise people to report the crimes against them, so that the matter of justice leaves their hands and is transferred to law enforcement and the judicial system, and ultimately to God. God is just and holy. He punishes sin. If the person refuses to hand the matter over to the authorities, they must forgive nonetheless. Nobody is exempt from God’s command to forgive, no matter the circumstances. The difference is that justice no longer becomes a personal thing, but rather something belonging to God. Instead of our wanting justice our way, we should trust God’s power and perfect planning to deal with the matter justly, His Way. This literally frees us to think about other things, such as God’s love, grace, mercy and His forgiveness of our own personal sins we committed against Him.

Attention Seeking
Some people use past and present unforgiven events to obtain the attention of other people. Have you ever heard the old saying “It’s the squeaky wheel that gets the grease”? Some people have learned that this is true. They squeak! For some reason, and I do not understand why this is either, some unforgiving persons refuse to forgive because they can still use whatever the offense was to obtain the sympathy and attention they crave. To forgive would be to let go of their victim status. Some might fear that nobody will listen to them anymore. When we forgive people, because we have chosen to follow Jesus, we are not victims anymore, but rather we are made more than conquerors in Christ. Attention must be shifted from what happened, and then be given to God in submission to His Divine Will for our lives. Pride must be done away with, so that the unforgiving person will humbly admit they are sinful, too. I believe God’s heart is broken whenever someone is abused, but I also believe that His heart is broken all the more whenever we reject what His Son, Jesus Christ, did on the cross to purchase our forgiveness.

I wanted to share one thing that God revealed to me on this trip.  The second day we were there we knew we were travelling to a new place our teams had never been, but we didn’t know much about the area.  It turns out the area we were going was about 4 hours away.  Normally the places we stay are high dessert climates – moderate to high temps with lots of sun but little humidity and in some places constant breezes.  The new area we traveled to turned out to be tropical with moderate to high temps but very high humidity.  In other words – IT WAS HOT!  Not only that but our 4 hour trip turned into a 6+ hour trip when a rock slide blocked our primary access.  Needless to say, it was an adventure and we were in the vehicles for a LONG time.  As we like to say anytime we encounter something unexpected, different or hard…”it’s a mission trip!”

The place we travelled to also seemed to be a bit poorer than the places we normally go and during our time in the cars, I kept seeing people both young and old sitting in front of their houses or shops.  They seemed to be tired, sad, bored, lonely…just sitting.  They all seemed to be waiting on something.

Something about this struck me and I thought to myself and to God, “What are these people waiting on?”

Every couple of minutes, another run down house or shop and another person sitting, waiting.

So I asked again “God, what are these people waiting on?”

And the answer came clearly.

“They are waiting on you.”

Even now as I write this my heart fills with emotion when I remember that moment of realization.

Obviously, in the natural, we couldn’t stop and minister to each person we saw.  We had a place we were committed to and we were already going to be late for that.  I didn’t feel that was the message God was sending, but what I did feel He was saying is that the whole world is waiting on us.  They are missing something and some of them don’t even know it.  The bored.  The hurting.  The poor.  The rich.  The simple.  The beautiful.  The broken.  The famous.  The invisible.  They are all waiting on something. They are waiting for someone to show them the love and power of Christ.  They are waiting on us.

Alone, we cannot do it.  And we don’t have to.  I knew we couldn’t minister to each one but I know if we could reach a few on this mission trip, those could also reach out and the numbers that are reaching could then grow exponentially.

So I say all of this ask you to look around you.  At work.  At home.  Right out of your front door.  In the places you shop.  Look around.  “They are waiting on you.”
