Foster & Adoptive Parents Night Out!

We will be hosting a parents’ night out for foster, kinship, and adoptive parents on Saturday, November 4th, from 5:30-8:30pm.

We have a fall festival themed event planned for the kiddos while parents go out and relax! We have planned for them some fun games to play, yummy food to eat, activities to run out allllll the energy, and win some prizes!! Dinner and snacks will be provided and the entire event is FREE.

We are so excited to get to support our foster and adoptive community in this way and provide a safe and loving environment for the kiddos while the parents relax! All childcare workers for this event will be background checked, and we will also have some foster and adoptive parents serving in this event who are trauma informed, and able to step in to help any struggling kiddos, should the need arise.

This event is for all children in your family ages 12 and under (foster, adopted, bio kids, etc.) If we are able to expand the age group to include teens, we will update the post to let you all know.

If you aren’t a foster/adoptive parent, but you want to be a part of this event to support the foster and adoptive community, there are many different opportunities to be part of this outreach — The biggest need is volunteers to help chaperone (a background check is required)! Other ways you can be a part include purchasing bottled waters, juice, or goody bag items, helping with set up, or writing cards of encouragement for the families. If you are interested in helping out, please see Jessica Howell or Jenn Bevan, or make a note on the online connect card!
